An oil on canvas by Humphrey Spender, mounted on board and framed to reveal the edge of the painting.  The frame is comprised of three mouldings, the inner one acting as a tray frame.  The middle section is a deep wedge-shaped moulding, above which is glass, then a narrow bevelled moulding built up to the full depth of the frame.  The whole piece was painted white.

The frame measures 65 x 55 cms and 7 cms deep.
